Request For: Pro and College Football
Request Title: Stronger speed effects
Description
Twofold:
1. Amplify the impacts of speed differences in all calculations involving speed. Ie slow corners getting burned more often by blazing WR's, etc
2. Player generation routine inversely relate speed and weight so it more realistically models different body types. Ie at a Wt of 4-5 would be rare to have a 8 or higher speed. At a Wt of 8-10 speed pretty much limited to 2-3. Make the Sp / Wt scales absolute instead of relative within position. Example: if a 9 Sp TE supposed to be fast for TE but average speed overall, if you move him to WR he's then gaining speed because the penalty goes away. He should just be a 5 at any position he's at and no positional penalties or bonuses

Admin Notes
The player generation routine has been modified to prevent anything more than maximum speed + weight of about 15.
There was also a request to give fast players more of an advantage that is not being incorporated. Speed is already a very important ability in the game, and realistically defenders covering a speedster are going to give more cushion rather than getting left in the dust play after play after play. This is already accounted for in the game, and explains why faster receivers also have an edge in short passes. I will note that of the coaches who voted, the majority did not want to see this changed.
