 | | | Request For: Pro and College Football Request Title: Opening Kickoff
 Description
I'm not sure what is used to determine who receives the opening kickoff, but many teams are using it as part of strategy.
In "Coaching options" allow coaches the opportunity to Receive or Defer to the second half.

Admin NotesI'm going to pass on this. Whatever arguments there may be in real-life, there is no advantage in DEL football to receiving or deferring, unless somehow you could be playing from the start of the third quarter to be getting the last possession of the game.
So, from the game play standpoint, there really would be no impact and just another thing to have to set in the coaching options.

This would be a cool option to have.

I feel like home team just always gets the ball first, possibly including OT. If you chose to defer, would that decision carry over into OT?

Definitely a strategy point for me. I'm new so I was curious if I was missing this. Something simple would suit me just to always kick if winning toss, I based my initial set up around this idea.

 More realism is good.
