The format of the CTrade command has each team involved in the proposed trade listed, followed by what it will be giving up, followed by a "DONE" line. Players, picks, and money can all be sent in trades.
To trade a player, list the player's ID number on a line.
To trade a pick, use the format
PICK (year) (round) (team name)
where team name should be replaced by the team whose pick is being traded, year is "1", and round is 1, 2, or 3. Picks beyond round 3 cannot be traded.
Money should be given in millions, rounded to the nearest 0.04 million, and is set by a $ in front of the value. The limit is $100.00 million, though it is doubtful that much would ever be involved.
The program will return any errors found in the trade, plus how fair the trade is both in terms of talent only and talent/money.
Example:

will check a trade in which the Astros propose sending player #1563, their 3rd round pick, the Reds' 2nd round pick, and $2.48 million to the Mariners for players #587, #1053, and #349.
