You may cut any players at any time with the "Cut Players" button in your
team control menu. Any player who is cut at any time
becomes a free agent, and you will no longer have to pay his salary. Once
games have begun, you must always keep a legal
roster, or cuts will not be allowed. If a player has a bonus, it will still count as part of your team's salary for the duration of the contract. In such a case, you may use the buyout option in the "Cut Players" command to pay off the remaining bonus immediately at a 33% discount.
