Utah Dominate Sacramento 4-0, Advance to the Western Conference Finals
Utah will continue to the Western Conference Finals by sweeping Sacramento 4-0, after overpowering Sacramento. Most around the league expected this kind of result, but Sacramento head coach Bob was defiant until game time. "Underdogs, my ----. We've got enough talent and enough heart to play with anybody in the league." Afterwards, his tune had changed significantly. "We've got some work ahead of us before we can play at their level."
The only bright point for Sacramento was the great play by Gilliam, and Bob was quick to praise his star. "If the whole team had played with his energy, we'd have been able to play with Utah. The bright side is that we know what he can do against them, and we'll try to build on that for our next meeting."
Utah was led by Burke (19 points, 0 assists, 4 blocks), Perkins (11 points, a block), Patton (19 points, 1 assists). Sacramento was led by Gilliam (21 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal), Daniels (12 points, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Bravo (13 points, 0 assists, a steal).
