CVBL: New Orleans Gets Solid 110-99 Win
Bob got the most out of New Orleans today, the result being a 110-99 win over Dallas. "They did everything right," said Dallas coach Bob. "That's really all there was to the game. They made the best of the chances we gave them, and didn't give us any really good shots of our own. My hat is off to Bob; he did a heck of a job."
Said Bob, "It was one of those games every coach dreams of. Everything went as hoped. Especially Brown - without his effort it would have been a tight game."
New Orleans was led by Brown (11 points, 7 boards, 10 assists, 2 steals), Gisi (12 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Vancourt (10 points, 11 boards, 3 assists, a steal). Dallas was led by Schmidt (23 points, 9 assists, 2 steals), Ziegler (27 points, a steal, 3 blocks), Watson (17 points, 0 assists, a block).
New Orleans are now 20-18 after today's win. They improve to #3 in the Southwest and improve to #9 overall in the Western Conference. With this loss, Dallas drop to 23-18 and 13-8 at home. They remain at #2 in the Southwest and stay at #6 overall in the Western Conference.
