CVBL: Denver Cruises to 110-89 Win over Boston

Denver gave a solid effort, handling Boston with ease in today's 110-89 win. This came as no surprise to Denver fans, who have been watching their team continue to improve recently. Players are starting to feel more confident as well. "I feel we can take on just about anybody right now," said today's star, Davidson. "The way this team's playing, there's no limit to how far we can go." Denver head coach Bob echoed his sentiment, saying "They all know they're as good as any other team in the league. They just have to stay focused and keep working, and the rest will take care of itself."

Lost in the excitement over Denver was the performance of Boston star Williams.

Denver was led by Davidson (5 points, 6 boards, 15 assists, 3 steals), Simmons (25 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Dixon (16 points, 1 assists). Boston was led by Williams (13 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Triplett (15 points, 1 assists, a block), Aguirre (18 points).

After this win, Denver jump to 28-13. They hold at #1 in the Northwest and stay at #2 overall in the Western Conference. Boston are now 12-29 and 8-9 at home with this loss. They stay at #5 in the Atlantic and stay at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
