CVBL: Boston Does What it Takes to Stun Charlotte 103-92

Mcfadden's great game led Boston to a 103-92 upset of Charlotte. "He really gave us the win," said winning coach Bob. "I think the rest of the team really felt intimidated coming in, but Mcfadden showed them that we could pull off the win. You could really see the confidence build as time went on."

Homen paced Charlotte, but his effort was not enough. "It's easy to blame the star when we come up short," said Charlotte coach Bob. "But really, if we all played like him we'd have won. It's just that we sometimes take him for granted and sit around watching him dominate. Today's game served as a wake-up call for the rest of the team."

Boston was led by Mcfadden (18 points, 16 boards, 1 assists, a block), Manly (26 points, 3 assists, a block), Mcneil (8 points, 2 steals, a block). Charlotte was led by Homen (24 points, 8 boards, 2 assists), Horn (15 points, 10 assists, 2 steals), Lawson (14 points, 8 boards, 2 assists).

After the victory, Boston jump to 15-23. They advance to #4 in the Atlantic and improve to #12 overall in the Eastern Conference. Charlotte fall to 16-23 and 10-8 at home. They fall to #4 in the Southeast and fall to #11 overall in the Eastern Conference.
