CVBL: Sacramento Gets Easy Win
Sacramento looked like champions today, beating Phoenix 100-85. "That's the best we've seen them for a while," said an overwhelmed Phoenix coach Bob. "None of the tapes we had of them showed the fluid execution that we saw out there today, and frankly we just weren't prepared as well as they were. I take full responsibility for that; with better preparation we could have won. Instead they just took over the game and never let us back in."
Sacramento was led by Bravo (27 points, 3 assists, a steal), Taylor (8 points, 11 assists, a steal, a block), Stanford (9 points, 14 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks). Phoenix was led by Mercer (12 points, 11 assists, a steal), Dupree (11 points, 18 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Fripp (23 points, a steal).
Sacramento improve to 29-13. They remain at #2 in the Pacific and stay at #4 overall in the Western Conference. Phoenix are now 18-22 and 11-11 at home. They stay at #3 in the Pacific and move down to #11 overall in the Western Conference.
