CVBL: Adnan Bislimovic Satisfied With LA Clippers Win

LA Clippers brushed past an overmatched Philadelphia team today 99-84. Always politically correct, LA Clippers coach Adnan Bislimovic stated simply "We just managed to do what we needed to get done out there. The players had solid execution all around, and Boswell's effort helped set the pace. Philadelphia is a team we've had success against in the past, which I think gave us a bit more confidence coming in."

Philadelphia coach Bob was a little more frank. "We knew going in that we'd need a miracle to beat LA Clippers, and we didn't get it. They have better players and a better coach, and did what they were supposed to do out there. I'm just glad the final score wasn't even worse."

LA Clippers was led by Boswell (10 points, 7 assists, a steal, a block), Francois (23 points), Minor (13 points, 6 boards, 3 assists). Philadelphia was led by Alston (8 points, 5 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Hargrove (25 points), Thompson (9 points, 3 assists, 2 blocks).

With the victory, LA Clippers are now 34-8. They remain at #1 in the Pacific and remain at #1 overall in the Western Conference. With this defeat, Philadelphia drop to 24-16 and 13-7 at home. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and remain at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
