CVBL: Miami Gets Solid 117-102 Win
Miami looked like champions today, beating Chicago 117-102. "That's the best we've seen them for a while," said an overwhelmed Chicago coach Bob. "None of the tapes we had of them showed the fluid execution that we saw out there today, and frankly we just weren't prepared as well as they were. I take full responsibility for that; with better preparation we could have won. Instead they just took over the game and never let us back in."
Miami was led by Roberson (18 points, 14 boards, 4 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Fenty (16 points, 15 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Brown (24 points, 0 assists, a block). Chicago was led by Darden (13 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks), Brown (16 points, 7 boards, 0 assists), Glover (20 points, a block).
Miami improve to 28-11. They stay at #1 in the Southeast and remain at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Chicago fall to 19-21 and 13-8 at home with today's defeat. They remain at #3 in the Central and remain at #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
