CVBL: Sacramento Dominant in Win Over Brooklyn
Sacramento played a solid game today, beating Brooklyn 102-88. Brooklyn players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Sacramento today. "It was really frustrating," said Brooklyn star Hester. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.
Sacramento was led by Brown (10 points, 13 boards, 0 assists, 5 blocks), Bravo (16 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Velazquez (21 points, a steal, a block). Brooklyn was led by Hester (17 points, a block), Johnson (12 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Miller (6 points, 7 assists, a steal).
With the victory, Sacramento stand at 33-7. They hold at #1 in the Pacific and remain at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Brooklyn are now 17-22 and 10-10 at home. They hold at #3 in the Atlantic and hold at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference.
