CVBL: Memphis Coasts Past Dallas

Memphis dominated Dallas today, winning by a final score of 116-104. Although the score was 0-0 at the start of the game, Memphis quickly took charge and, aside from brief flurries of activity by Dallas, were never really threatened. "We were schooled out there," said Dallas coach Bob. "I mean it wasn't a blowout, but they sure were in control the entire game. [Memphis coach] Bob did a great job getting his team ready for the game, and Brown was nearly unstoppable." Memphis was led by Brown (18 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, 4 blocks), Murray (24 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Jensen (24 points, a block). Dallas was led by Forrester (47 points, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Mack (20 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks), Perry (16 points, 16 boards, 1 assists, a steal).

Memphis are now 27-14 and 14-5 at home after today's victory. They hold at #1 in the Southwest and stay at #3 overall in the Western Conference. Dallas fall to 22-20. They stay at #3 in the Southwest and stay at #8 overall in the Western Conference.
