CVBL: Detroit Storms Past San Antonio

Detroit exploded for an early lead and never looked back, blowing out San Antonio by a final score of 118-81. The game had something for nearly everyone. The offensive surge was a welcome sight for Detroit fans, as the team has struggled a little to point points on the scoreboard lately. And neutral fans had the treat of seeing some of the best offense the league has seen this season, as everything coach David Smith tried was a success.

Detroit was led by Gilliam (31 points, 2 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Kay (16 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Shaw (14 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, a steal). San Antonio was led by Mack (19 points, 2 blocks), Scott (8 points, 8 assists, a steal), Mothershed (8 points, a steal).

Detroit stand at 35-5 and 21-0 at home with the win. They remain at #1 in the Central and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. San Antonio drop to 10-33. They remain at #5 in the Southwest and hold at #15 overall in the Western Conference.
