CVBL: Boston Stuns Indiana

Indiana came in as the heavy favorites and played like they knew it, in one of the laziest efforts the league has seen for a while. "Before the game, I kept telling them that they needed to stay focused. Sure, Boston isn't very good, but they're not going to lay down and play dead either," said Indiana coach Coach Hitch. "But nothing worked. I even heard some players betting on the margin of victory." That overconfidence cost them, as they lost 112-105.

The credit goes to Boston coach Bob, who had his team playing the best they've played in a while. The game plan was perfect, and Boston took advantage of every opportunity they were given. "We caught them with their guard down," he said after the game. "They'd probably win a rematch, but that doesn't matter. All that matters is today's score."

Boston was led by Manly (36 points, 1 assists, a block), Dennis (9 points, 10 assists, a block), Anderson (17 points, a steal, a block). Indiana was led by Cato (24 points, 1 assists, a steal), Williams (22 points, 6 boards, 1 assists), Handy (5 points, 5 boards, 10 assists).

After today's victory, Boston stand at 17-23 and 9-12 at home. They remain at #4 in the Atlantic and advance to #10 overall in the Eastern Conference. Indiana stand at 27-13. They drop to #3 in the Central and drop to #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
