CVBL: Sacramento Gets Win Over Milwaukee
Sacramento beat Milwaukee 95-85 today in a great game. Although some pundits were predicting a blowout, the two teams delivered a memorable game that left the fans on the edges of their seats until the very end. "It's one of those games that nobody should have to lose," said Sacramento coach Bob. "I'm definitely glad it wasn't us."
Milwaukee coach Bob will be rethinking some of his choices for some time. "I thought we tried the right things at the right times, but of course hindsight is perfect. Obviously not everything we did worked, though, and in a game like this that could have made the difference."
Sacramento was led by Canul (21 points, 13 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Boone (15 points, 4 steals, 4 blocks), Heath (5 points, 5 boards, 9 assists, 4 steals). Milwaukee was led by Fraser (12 points, 6 boards, 7 assists, 2 steals), Young (15 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Trawick (9 points, 12 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks).
Sacramento jump to 29-13 and 15-6 at home after the win. They improve to #2 in the Pacific and advance to #4 overall in the Western Conference. With today's loss, Milwaukee are now 18-25. They stay at #4 in the Central and remain at #12 overall in the Eastern Conference.
