CVBL: Brooklyn Upsets Milwaukee

A sloppy performance by Milwaukee cost them this afternoon against Brooklyn. "You play like that, and you're going to get beaten," said Milwaukee coach Bob after the game. "Doesn't matter who you're playing - we proved that today." Poor play all afternoon, especially in clutch situations, proved costly for Milwaukee and negated a solid outing by Valentine.

Brooklyn was led by Owens (30 points, 5 boards, 6 assists, a block), Hargrove (8 points, 17 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Jeanlouis (12 points, 2 assists, 5 blocks). Milwaukee was led by Valentine (14 points, 16 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Reese (21 points, a block), Martinez (9 points, 3 steals, a block).

Brooklyn are now 26-15. They stay at #1 in the Atlantic and hold at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's loss, Milwaukee stand at 29-13 and 13-6 at home. They remain at #1 in the Central and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference.
