CVBL: Miami Steals Spotlight from Orlando

Miami showed their mettle today with a convincing 94-79 win over Orlando. "After some of the games we've had, I think we've left some doubt as to whether we can solidly beat anybody," said head coach Bob after the game. "I don't know that one game will erase those doubts, but I can certainly see the difference in the locker room."

The win came largely as the result of a great effort by Fisher, the Miami star. Said Bob of him, "The game would have gone down to the wire without Fisher's efforts today. He really made the difference between another tough battle and a dominating win."

Miami was led by Fisher (6 points, 3 steals), Keeney (16 points, 7 boards, 3 assists), Gleeson (16 points, a steal). Orlando was led by Underwood (12 points, 6 assists, 3 steals), Wright (11 points, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Mcfadden (17 points, a steal, a block).

After today's win, Miami are now 23-19 and 15-6 at home. They stay at #1 in the Southeast and hold at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. Orlando fall to 18-24 after this defeat. They hold at #2 in the Southeast and hold at #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
