CVBL: Boston Upends Atlanta

Atlanta fans watched their team self-destruct today against Boston, in one of the biggest upsets of the season. "I'd like to take the credit for great preparations," said Boston coach Bob after the game. "We did work our rear ends off getting ready for this game, but I really can't believe the number of chances Atlanta gave us. First they let us get in the game, and later they let us pull out ahead and take home the win."

Atlanta head coach Bob declined comment after the game. Lost in his team's horrid performance was the one bright point, a solid outing by Jackson. Boston was led by Guevara (25 points, 14 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Edwards (9 points, 11 assists, 3 steals), Whitfield (18 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, a block). Atlanta was led by Jackson (26 points, 6 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks), Souza (20 points, 0 assists, 2 steals), Mcnair (8 points, 3 assists, 4 blocks).

Boston are now 10-34 and 4-19 at home after the win. They remain at #5 in the Atlantic and stay at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta stand at 26-19 after the defeat. They remain at #1 in the Southeast and stay at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference.
