For much of the game, it looked like Golden State would be able to pull off the win, thanks in large part to an outstanding performance by Reeve. But the tide finally turned in the end, with Charlotte star Plungis leading his team to victory.

"Definitely a great game," said Charlotte coach Bob after the game. "The fans got their money's worth out of it, and both teams put up a good fight. We're just glad that we were able to finish strong and get the W. Plungis was a big part of that, and I don't think we'd have won without his efforts."

Charlotte was led by Plungis (16 points, a steal, 2 blocks), White (15 points, 1 assists, a steal), Croce (7 points, 2 steals). Golden State was led by Reeve (33 points, 10 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Chiles (11 points, 2 steals), Cordner (8 points, 15 boards, 0 assists, a block).

With the victory, Charlotte are now 29-15. They stay at #2 in the Southeast and stay at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. Golden State fall to 11-34 and 7-17 at home after today's loss. They stay at #4 in the Pacific and stay at #14 overall in the Western Conference.
