CVBL: LA Clippers Wins 111-95

LA Clippers showed who was the better team tonight with a convincing 111-95 win over Dallas. Although not exactly a blowout, LA Clippers coach Adnan Bislimovic and his players outplayed Dallas from start to end. "I was hoping for a better outcome," said Dallas coach Bob during a post-game interview. "But they just overpowered us, and there was nothing we could do to adjust. Adnan Bislimovic's team was more talented and better-prepared, and it would have taken quite a bit of luck for us to overcome that."

The loss was tough on Dallas fans, who had expected great things from their team after some offseason moves. "I think reality is starting to sink in," said one team. "We didn't expect to see other teams outplaying us this badly, but LA Clippers sure made their point."

LA Clippers was led by Boswell (16 points, 15 assists, 2 steals), Quarles (23 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Minor (22 points, 1 assists). Dallas was led by Parker (19 points, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Edwards (14 points, 0 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Owens (12 points, 5 assists, a steal).

LA Clippers have won their last 5 games and stand at 38-8. They remain at #1 in the Pacific and hold at #1 overall in the Western Conference. With this defeat, Dallas stand at 24-20 and 12-8 at home. They fall to #2 in the Southwest and fall to #6 overall in the Western Conference.
