CVBL: Orlando Dominant in Win Over Milwaukee
Orlando posted a solid 115-104 win over Milwaukee today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said Orlando coach Bob. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Hayes's play."
It will be a tough task for Milwaukee coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
Orlando was led by Hayes (12 points, 7 assists, 5 blocks), Buchanan (33 points), Reed (7 points, 7 boards, 8 assists, 2 steals). Milwaukee was led by Mackey (18 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a block), Nichols (10 points, 12 boards, 2 assists), Cummings (20 points, a block).
With today's victory, Orlando stand at 30-14 and 20-3 at home. They stay at #1 in the Southeast and hold at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. After this loss, Milwaukee stand at 11-33. They remain at #4 in the Central and hold at #13 overall in the Eastern Conference.
