CVBL: Brooklyn Storms Past Golden State
Lots of preparation paid off this evening, as Brooklyn blew past Golden State 95-65. "Coach did a great job for this one," said Brooklyn star Spring. "He really studied Golden State, figured out their tendencies, and gave us one heck of a game plan. I think we're almost getting spoiled with his great work - every game we go out there knowing exactly what our opponent is going to try. We don't always get blowouts like this, but we are always the better-prepared team."
Brooklyn was led by Spring (20 points, a block), Alves (9 points, 11 boards, 1 assists), Jefferson (6 points, a steal). Golden State was led by Simmons (10 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, a block), Adkins (9 points, 0 assists, a block), Proctor (6 points, 1 assists, a block).
Brooklyn are now 32-11 and 18-4 at home. They hold at #2 in the Atlantic and stay at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. Golden State keep stumbling with a losing streak of 18 games and are now 9-34. They hold at #5 in the Pacific and stay at #14 overall in the Western Conference.
