CVBL: Memphis Pulls out the Win over Dallas
Hayes led Memphis to victory today over Dallas in a 109-106 game. "It was a tough one to lose," said losing coach Bob. "I thought we had a great chance going in, and even now I think we'd have a great chance in a rematch. But Hayes made the difference for his team, and we really didn't have an answer today."
Memphis coach Bob was equally admiring of his star. "Dallas were very well prepared for this game, and our boys weren't really ready for what they faced out there. I like to believe that we'd play a better all-around game when we play them again, but we'll be happy riding Hayes and getting the win today."
Memphis was led by Hayes (30 points, 2 assists, a block), Jensen (19 points, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Brown (14 points, 8 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks). Dallas was led by Forrester (45 points, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Perry (39 points, 0 assists), Williams (5 points, 7 boards, 1 assists).
