CVBL: Milwaukee Express Steamrolls Dallas 100-91
Martinez led Milwaukee to victory today over Dallas in a 100-91 game. "It was a tough one to lose," said losing coach Bob. "I thought we had a great chance going in, and even now I think we'd have a great chance in a rematch. But Martinez made the difference for his team, and we really didn't have an answer today."
Milwaukee coach Bob was equally admiring of his star. "Dallas were very well prepared for this game, and our boys weren't really ready for what they faced out there. I like to believe that we'd play a better all-around game when we play them again, but we'll be happy riding Martinez and getting the win today."
Milwaukee was led by Martinez (7 points, 9 assists, 4 steals), Mcclendon (6 points, 20 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Ott (19 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a block). Dallas was led by Madison (27 points, 2 blocks), Kay (13 points, 13 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Wilson (14 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks).
Milwaukee improve to 31-13. They hold at #1 in the Central and hold at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this loss, Dallas are now 25-18 and 17-7 at home. They stay at #2 in the Southwest and remain at #5 overall in the Western Conference.
