CVBL: Sacramento and Toronto Down to the Wire

Sacramento beat Toronto today in a 103-93 game that was close the whole way. For much of the game, it looked like Toronto would be able to pull off the win, thanks in large part to an outstanding performance by Muse. But the tide finally turned in the end, with Sacramento star Gilliam leading his team to victory.

"Definitely a great game," said Sacramento coach Bob after the game. "The fans got their money's worth out of it, and both teams put up a good fight. We're just glad that we were able to finish strong and get the W. Gilliam was a big part of that, and I don't think we'd have won without his efforts."

Sacramento was led by Gilliam (25 points, 4 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Brown (19 points, 8 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Bravo (22 points, 9 boards, 0 assists, 2 steals). Toronto was led by Muse (23 points, a block), Wright (10 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Murray (12 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks).

Sacramento are now 36-8 and 21-3 at home after this victory. They remain at #1 in the Pacific and stay at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Toronto fall to 26-18 after this loss. They hold at #2 in the Atlantic and stay at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference.
