CVBL: Minnesota Dominant in Win Over San Antonio
Smith was unstoppable today, leading Minnesota to a 125-111 win over San Antonio. "I've never seen anything like that," said San Antonio star Worthy. "Smith just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Bob, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."
Smith refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Smith certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.
