CVBL: Charlotte Clobbers Orlando

Charlotte cruised past Orlando 102-75, an outcome that surprised no one. Charlotte was the heavy favorites coming in, and played like it. "It's easy to lose your focus when everyone expects the easy win," said star Bailey. "But we knew a lot was riding on the game, and that reputation doesn't mean anything in the standings. The score starts at 0-0 regardless of who's playing, and you've got to prove you're the better team every day."

If Charlotte coach Bob can keep his players focused like that, there is no limit to what the team can do.

Charlotte was led by Bailey (12 points, 19 boards, 2 assists), Meadows (10 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Lanham (16 points, 2 steals, 3 blocks). Orlando was led by Shealey (27 points, 1 assists, a block), Selby (10 points, 1 assists, 2 steals), Braziel (5 points, 8 boards, 0 assists).

After this win, Charlotte stand at 32-14 and 19-4 at home. They stay at #2 in the Southeast and remain at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. Orlando drop to 13-30. They stay at #5 in the Southeast and stay at #14 overall in the Eastern Conference.
