CVBL: New York Takes Easy Win over Minnesota
New York posted a solid 115-100 win over Minnesota today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said New York coach Bob. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Crawford's play."
It will be a tough task for Minnesota coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
New York was led by Crawford (20 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Powell (16 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Chatman (8 points, a steal). Minnesota was led by Smith (13 points, a block), Powers (11 points, 11 boards, 2 assists), Patterson (13 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a block).
New York keep rolling with a winning streak of 13 games and stand at 35-9. They hold at #1 in the Atlantic and remain at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota drop to 21-26 and 11-10 at home. They remain at #5 in the Northwest and hold at #11 overall in the Western Conference.
