CVBL: Miami 111, Chicago 105

Miami, led by Fenty, got the critical win in today's matchup against Chicago. After the game, the Miami star was surrounded by would-be interviewers, a not uncommon sight recently as he has moved into a leading role on his team. After taking a few questions, he met his long-time friend, Chicago's Mayes, who had played his heart out during the game only to come up short. "It's always tough when we play, he said. I always like to see him do well, and vice versa. But we can't both come out winners as long as we're on different teams." Rumors continue to circulate about the two friends trying to find their way onto the same team.

Miami was led by Fenty (26 points, 16 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Brown (27 points, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Roberson (12 points, 11 boards, 2 assists). Chicago was led by Mayes (26 points, 3 blocks), Darden (11 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Glover (16 points, 0 assists, a steal, 3 blocks).

Miami stand at 32-12 and 21-4 at home with this win. They stay at #1 in the Southeast and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Chicago are now 20-25 after this loss. They remain at #3 in the Central and hold at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference.
