CVBL: Andreas Helmle Gets Big Win over Golden State

Richardson was unstoppable today, leading LA Lakers to a 82-63 win over Golden State. "I've never seen anything like that," said Golden State star Hill. "Richardson just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Perez Suarez, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."

Richardson refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Richardson certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.

LA Lakers was led by Richardson (19 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Butler (6 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block), Vest (15 points, 0 assists). Golden State was led by Hill (6 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Riffe (5 points, 5 assists, a steal), Johnson (15 points).
