CVBL: Dallas Comes up Big Over Memphis

A solid outing by Parker led Dallas to a 115-112 win over Memphis. "Take away Parker, and we'd have won this thing," said Memphis coach Bob. "It was a very close game most of the way, and he was the one that put Dallas over the top. I thought we had the right game plan and executed well. What's sad is that I don't know what we'd do differently next time, except for hoping for a more mortal performance by him."

Dallas coach Bob was happy for the win, but concerned about the team's play. "I didn't think this was a very good team win. Our players seemed tempted to sit around and watch Parker do his stuff. That was enough for the win today, but on another day maybe Parker will be injured or our opponents can counter him, and we'll need the rest of the players to step up as well."

Dallas was led by Parker (19 points, 3 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Digiulio (27 points, 1 assists, a block), Bell (10 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks). Memphis was led by Woodfin (14 points, 17 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Thomas (25 points, 9 boards, 1 assists), Martin (10 points).

Dallas jump to 25-21 and 13-8 at home. They hold at #2 in the Southwest and stay at #6 overall in the Western Conference. Memphis drop to 26-21. They remain at #1 in the Southwest and hold at #3 overall in the Western Conference.
