CVBL: Bob Watches Minnesota Win

A great game plan and solid execution gave Minnesota a 98-95 win over New York. The game looked like a toss-up on paper, with both teams having strengths and weaknesses. But Minnesota coach Bob had his team better-prepared, and the difference was clear when the teams began play. "It's embarrasing to admit, but I was outcoached today," said New York coach Bob. "Bob had his team prepared perfectly, and his players did exactly what they were supposed to do."

Minnesota was led by Smith (30 points, 2 steals), Gisi (10 points, 13 boards, 4 assists, a block), Dirks (12 points, 3 assists, 2 blocks). New York was led by Crawford (12 points, 11 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Olson (21 points, 0 assists, a steal), Fuller (21 points, a block).

Minnesota stand at 26-19 and 15-7 at home with this victory. They hold at #3 in the Northwest and stay at #7 overall in the Western Conference. With the defeat, New York are now 19-27. They hold at #4 in the Atlantic and drop to #9 overall in the Eastern Conference.
