CVBL: Charlotte Steals Spotlight from Dallas
Bob got the most out of Charlotte today, the result being a 107-94 win over Dallas. "They did everything right," said Dallas coach Bob. "That's really all there was to the game. They made the best of the chances we gave them, and didn't give us any really good shots of our own. My hat is off to Bob; he did a heck of a job."
Said Bob, "It was one of those games every coach dreams of. Everything went as hoped. Especially Neal - without his effort it would have been a tight game."
Charlotte was led by Neal (27 points, 13 assists, 2 steals, a block), Murphy (18 points, 20 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals), Scroggins (25 points, 0 assists). Dallas was led by Schmidt (19 points, 3 steals), Garcia (11 points, 13 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Ziegler (16 points, a steal, a block).
With the win, Charlotte jump to 27-21. They remain at #2 in the Southeast and improve to #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this defeat, Dallas are now 24-23 and 13-11 at home. They hold at #3 in the Southwest and drop to #9 overall in the Western Conference.
