CVBL: Milwaukee Clobbers Minnesota

Mcclendon was unstoppable today, leading Milwaukee to a 111-90 win over Minnesota. "I've never seen anything like that," said Minnesota star Tracy. "Mcclendon just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Bob, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."

Mcclendon refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Mcclendon certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.

Milwaukee was led by Mcclendon (14 points, 14 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals, a block), Reese (24 points, a steal, a block), Alston (26 points, a steal). Minnesota was led by Tracy (15 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Kaplan (15 points, 7 boards, 1 assists), Edwards (14 points, 7 boards, 0 assists).

With today's victory, Milwaukee jump to 32-14 and 15-7 at home. They stay at #1 in the Central and remain at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota keep stumbling with a losing streak of 5 games and stand at 13-32. They remain at #5 in the Northwest and hold at #12 overall in the Western Conference.
