CVBL: Portland Beats Orlando 99-89

Portland came out on top in an exciting game against Orlando. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Portland coach Bob. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

Bob and his counterpart, Orlando coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Portland just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Portland was led by Guerrero (22 points, 3 assists, a block), King (16 points, 5 boards, 6 assists), Animashaun (12 points, a steal, 3 blocks). Orlando was led by Rausch (22 points, 12 boards, 0 assists, a block), Thomas (18 points, 6 boards, 5 assists, a block), Perry (19 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks).

Portland stand at 27-19. They hold at #2 in the Northwest and hold at #5 overall in the Western Conference. After the loss, Orlando are now 25-22 and 14-10 at home. They remain at #3 in the Southeast and remain at #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
