CVBL: Charlotte Pulls Out Win Over Utah 94-86
Charlotte defeated Utah last night by a score of 94-86, proving that they are not done winning just yet. They have come under scrutiny lately, despite the fact that they have continued winning. Coach Bob said after the game that "We just can't impress the sportswriters enough, I guess. No matter how we perform during the game, there are going to be reasons to complain."
Utah coach Coach Young couldn't agree more. "This is a good team. The better team just won tonight, that's all. Go write your story."
Charlotte was led by White (28 points, 0 assists, a block), Plungis (18 points, 2 blocks), Horn (13 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks). Utah was led by Williams (27 points, 1 assists, a block), Brown (15 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks), Banks (15 points, 2 assists, 2 steals).
Charlotte stand at 30-16 with this victory. They hold at #2 in the Southeast and move up to #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. After today's loss, Utah stand at 18-30 and 10-15 at home. They stay at #4 in the Northwest and stay at #10 overall in the Western Conference.
