CVBL: Bob Gets Big Win over Charlotte
Sacramento posted a solid 98-80 win over Charlotte today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said Sacramento coach Bob. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Brown's play."
It will be a tough task for Charlotte coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
Sacramento was led by Brown (12 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, a block), Gilliam (22 points, 1 assists, a steal), Bravo (16 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, a steal). Charlotte was led by Atkins (16 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Neal (5 points, 8 assists), Morse (14 points, a block).
Sacramento are now 38-8 and 23-3 at home after the victory. They stay at #1 in the Pacific and remain at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Charlotte stand at 18-27. They move down to #3 in the Southeast and fall to #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
