CVBL: LA Clippers Snatches Win over Dallas

Jenkins continues to dominate the league and helped LA Clippers post an expected win over Dallas, 91-86. The game was a solid team effort, but Jenkins - a favorite for post-season honors - was outstanding, completely overshadowing a great performance by Dallas key player, Meyers.

Jenkins's coach, Adnan Bislimovic, had nothing but praise for his star. "He's just special. It's something just to sit back and watch him do his thing. He certainly brings pride to LA Clippers fans everywhere." Dallas coach Bob was concilliatory after the game as well. "When Jenkins is doing his thing, you just hope you can keep him under control. We didn't, though Meyers certainly did his part. We really thought we could win this game, so the locker room is pretty quiet right now. We'll just have to turn our focus to next week."

LA Clippers was led by Jenkins (31 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Newton (7 points, 6 boards, 9 assists, 5 steals), Wood (13 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks). Dallas was led by Meyers (16 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Madison (18 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Meyers (10 points, 3 assists, 2 steals).

LA Clippers stand at 30-16 and 17-2 at home after today's win. They hold at #1 in the Pacific and hold at #3 overall in the Western Conference. After this defeat, Dallas stand at 27-19. They hold at #2 in the Southwest and hold at #4 overall in the Western Conference.
