CVBL: No Contest as Dallas Stomps LA Clippers
Dallas ruined the day for LA Clippers with a 112-87 blowout. In a pregame interview, LA Clippers coach Bob was optimistic about his team's chances. "We've made some mistakes lately, but if everyone does what they are supposed to we can beat Dallas. Don't get me wrong, Bob has built a good team and there's a reason they're the favorites. But we're just as good if we stop making our mental mistakes." Said LA Clippers star Davidson, "Coach is right. We've done some reworking of our talent and our game plan, and we've got what it takes to play with Dallas."
Those predictions turned out to be wishful thinking, as Bob and his team will go back to the drawing boards after getting shredded in today's game.
Dallas was led by Olguin (7 points, 12 assists, a steal), Mack (18 points, 2 blocks), Perry (20 points, 6 boards, 1 assists). LA Clippers was led by Davidson (8 points, a steal), Brown (17 points, 5 boards, 0 assists), Patrick (11 points, 3 blocks).
With this victory, Dallas stand at 27-22 and 12-12 at home. They remain at #3 in the Southwest and stay at #7 overall in the Western Conference. With this loss, LA Clippers fall to 34-13. They fall to #2 in the Pacific and move down to #4 overall in the Western Conference.
