CVBL: Memphis Wins Big
Memphis posted a solid 104-92 win over Phoenix today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said Memphis coach Bob. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Washington's play."
It will be a tough task for Phoenix coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
Memphis was led by Washington (18 points, 10 boards, 1 assists), Dolly (15 points, 4 blocks), Brown (13 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks). Phoenix was led by Dupree (24 points, 19 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Carey (20 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Fripp (19 points, a steal).
