CVBL: Memphis 119, Charlotte 91
After the game was over, Charlotte left the stadium with their heads between their legs after being on the losing end of a 119-91 blowout against Memphis. In the post-game press conference, Memphis coach Bob spoke of how his team came out ready to play and didn't let up once they got ahead. Led by Sigler, Memphis was able to hold off the few runs made by Charlotte. Coach Bob of Charlotte said, "I really thought we had a chance to win this game. Hopefully next game we will come out ready to play. Maybe I need to take our ping pong table out of the clubhouse."
Memphis was led by Sigler (26 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 5 blocks), Hayes (18 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Peppers (16 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, a block). Charlotte was led by Williams (16 points, 2 blocks), Mcfadden (17 points, 1 assists, a steal), Morse (16 points, 2 assists).
Memphis improve to 37-10 and 21-4 at home. They stay at #1 in the Southwest and stay at #2 overall in the Western Conference. With this loss, Charlotte drop to 18-28. They fall to #4 in the Southeast and move down to #11 overall in the Eastern Conference.
