CVBL: Toronto Outplays a Better Utah Team 107-100

Murray's great game led Toronto to a 107-100 upset of Utah. "He really gave us the win," said winning coach Bob. "I think the rest of the team really felt intimidated coming in, but Murray showed them that we could pull off the win. You could really see the confidence build as time went on."

Perkins paced Utah, but his effort was not enough. "It's easy to blame the star when we come up short," said Utah coach Coach Young. "But really, if we all played like him we'd have won. It's just that we sometimes take him for granted and sit around watching him dominate. Today's game served as a wake-up call for the rest of the team."

Toronto was led by Murray (31 points, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Jordan (22 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Burke (18 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks). Utah was led by Perkins (24 points, 9 boards, 6 assists, 4 blocks), Robinson (27 points, 12 boards, 0 assists, a block), Hill (16 points, 8 boards, 0 assists, a block).

With the win, Toronto jump to 26-20 and 17-8 at home. They remain at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. Utah snapped their winning streak at 9 games, and fall to 33-15. They hold at #2 in the Northwest and hold at #4 overall in the Western Conference.
