CVBL: LA Clippers Cruises Past Houston

LA Clippers gave a solid effort, handling Houston with ease in today's 108-89 win. This came as no surprise to LA Clippers fans, who have been watching their team continue to improve recently. Players are starting to feel more confident as well. "I feel we can take on just about anybody right now," said today's star, Reese. "The way this team's playing, there's no limit to how far we can go." LA Clippers head coach Bob echoed his sentiment, saying "They all know they're as good as any other team in the league. They just have to stay focused and keep working, and the rest will take care of itself."

Lost in the excitement over LA Clippers was the performance of Houston star Sims.

LA Clippers was led by Reese (20 points, 3 assists, 3 blocks), Brown (21 points, 5 boards, 0 assists), Patrick (17 points, 2 assists). Houston was led by Sims (17 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Evans (13 points, a steal, a block), Hurd (10 points, a steal).

LA Clippers are now 32-17 and 16-7 at home after this victory. They stay at #2 in the Pacific and hold at #5 overall in the Western Conference. Houston fall to 34-13 with this defeat. They hold at #2 in the Southwest and remain at #4 overall in the Western Conference.
