After the game was over, Cleveland left the stadium with their heads between their legs after being on the losing end of a 101-71 blowout against Philadelphia. In the post-game press conference, Philadelphia coach Bob spoke of how his team came out ready to play and didn't let up once they got ahead. Led by Conard, Philadelphia was able to hold off the few runs made by Cleveland. Coach Bob of Cleveland said, "I really thought we had a chance to win this game. Hopefully next game we will come out ready to play. Maybe I need to take our ping pong table out of the clubhouse."
