CVBL: Philadelphia Unstoppable

Philadelphia cruised past Boston 115-80, an outcome that surprised no one. Philadelphia was the heavy favorites coming in, and played like it. "It's easy to lose your focus when everyone expects the easy win," said star Hargrove. "But we knew a lot was riding on the game, and that reputation doesn't mean anything in the standings. The score starts at 0-0 regardless of who's playing, and you've got to prove you're the better team every day."

If Philadelphia coach Bob can keep his players focused like that, there is no limit to what the team can do.

Philadelphia was led by Hargrove (31 points, 2 blocks), Moore (18 points, 10 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Blackwell (18 points, 8 boards, 0 assists). Boston was led by Jackson (9 points, 9 assists), Mitchell (20 points, a block), Long (6 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 3 blocks).

Philadelphia are now 31-16 and 17-7 at home with the win. They stay at #1 in the Atlantic and stay at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. Boston fall to 29-18 after this defeat. They hold at #2 in the Atlantic and remain at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference.
