CVBL: Memphis 110, Toronto 88
Memphis dominated Toronto today, winning by a final score of 110-88. Although the score was 0-0 at the start of the game, Memphis quickly took charge and, aside from brief flurries of activity by Toronto, were never really threatened. "We were schooled out there," said Toronto coach Bob. "I mean it wasn't a blowout, but they sure were in control the entire game. [Memphis coach] Bob did a great job getting his team ready for the game, and Scott was nearly unstoppable."
Memphis was led by Scott (7 points, 15 boards, 11 assists, a steal, 5 blocks), Calloway (28 points, a steal), Whitfield (18 points, 12 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks). Toronto was led by Henderson (17 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Way (11 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Price (5 points).
With today's win, Memphis jump to 33-14. They stay at #1 in the Southwest and remain at #2 overall in the Western Conference. Toronto are now 19-29 and 11-13 at home with the defeat. They drop to #4 in the Atlantic and drop to #13 overall in the Eastern Conference.
