CVBL: Toronto Does What it Takes to Stun Indiana 100-90
Toronto fans watched in amazement, as their team was dominated throughout the game but came away with the 100-90 upset of Indiana. A frustrated Indiana coach Coach Hitch was interviewed after the game. "I kept thinking that we'd be able to come back and pull out the win. I mean we did everything right and controlled the flow of the game, but ended up just short countless times. Even as things wound down I was confident because we were so dominant out there. But eventually I saw that the better team wasn't going to get the win today."
Toronto coach Bob agreed. "I've been on the other end of this plenty of times, too. It's frustrating to watch when you've clearly got the better team out there but can't get the win. As for today, we'll consider ourselves lucky and be more than happy to get the win."
Toronto was led by Wright (16 points, 14 boards, 3 assists, a block), Perkins (20 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Creer (9 points, 3 steals). Indiana was led by Wade (25 points, 6 boards, 0 assists), Sigler (10 points, 2 blocks), Sanders (9 points, 1 assists, a steal, a block).
With today's victory, Toronto stand at 23-23 and 14-7 at home. They stay at #4 in the Atlantic and remain at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. Indiana stand at 29-22 after the loss. They remain at #2 in the Central and remain at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
