CVBL: Detroit 105, Sacramento 98 in Upset Win
A series of mistakes by Sacramento gave Detroit the 105-98 upset. "We just lost our focus," said Sacramento coach Bob. "Frankly, they were overmatched and they knew it. We did what we wanted for most of the game, but just blew it. What a tough way to go. You have to give them credit - they stuck around against a tougher opponent and were in position to take advantage when we gave them freebies."
Detroit was led by Delgado (20 points, 13 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Fox (22 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block), Graham (13 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, a steal, 3 blocks). Sacramento was led by Gilliam (49 points, a steal, 3 blocks), Brown (10 points, 17 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Bravo (6 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block).
