CVBL: Golden State Outlasts LA Clippers in the Extra Set
Golden State had everything work out for them, as they beat LA Clippers 108-106 in overtime today. Some bad play by LA Clippers and some good breaks allowed them to stay in the game, forcing overtime. The luck continued, giving them the win. After the game, Golden State coach Perez Suarez had nothing but good things to say about his team: "I didn't know if we would be able to pull it out when we went into overtime, but these guys played their hearts out today and didn't give up. I think as a team we are starting to see what we are capable of."
LA Clippers coach Bob saw things a little differently. "That was a gift win if I ever saw one. The game was ours, but we didn't put them away. Even at the end of regulation, we had our chances. And then we kept up our lousy play during overtime. We sure didn't deserve to win, but for Perez Suarez to talk about how great his team played shows that he doesn't have a clue."
