CVBL: Miami Steamrolls Boston 108-76

A great game by Perry led Miami to a 108-76 blowout of Boston. "Coach had a talk with me before the game," said Perry afterwards. "He told me Boston was a tough team and that he needed me to play my best out there. He was right; I felt that when I started getting the job done, it gave the rest of the team a boost."

Said Boston coach Bob, "He was magnificent out there. I'd like to think that we could have won if he hadn't played, but I doubt it. Their whole team was too good for us today."

Miami was led by Perry (8 points, 10 boards, 4 assists, 2 steals, a block), Byrd (18 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Atwood (25 points). Boston was led by Triplett (14 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Williams (9 points, 8 boards, 3 assists), Davis (9 points, 5 assists, a steal).

Miami stand at 36-20 and 18-8 at home after the win. They remain at #1 in the Southeast and stay at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. Boston stand at 19-39 with this loss. They remain at #5 in the Atlantic and hold at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
