CVBL: Sacramento Pulls Out Win Over Indiana 81-75

A solid outing by Bravo led Sacramento to a 81-75 win over Indiana. "Take away Bravo, and we'd have won this thing," said Indiana coach Coach Hitch. "It was a very close game most of the way, and he was the one that put Sacramento over the top. I thought we had the right game plan and executed well. What's sad is that I don't know what we'd do differently next time, except for hoping for a more mortal performance by him."

Sacramento coach Bob was happy for the win, but concerned about the team's play. "I didn't think this was a very good team win. Our players seemed tempted to sit around and watch Bravo do his stuff. That was enough for the win today, but on another day maybe Bravo will be injured or our opponents can counter him, and we'll need the rest of the players to step up as well."

Sacramento was led by Bravo (17 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, a steal), Stanford (6 points, 15 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Brown (8 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks). Indiana was led by Sanders (23 points, 0 assists, a steal), Burke (18 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Wade (15 points, 5 boards, 1 assists).

Sacramento are now 48-9. They stay at #1 in the Pacific and stay at #1 overall in the Western Conference. Indiana drop to 21-35 and 12-16 at home. They remain at #3 in the Central and remain at #10 overall in the Eastern Conference.
