CVBL: Detroit Coasts Past Utah

Graham was unstoppable today, leading Detroit to a 103-79 win over Utah. "I've never seen anything like that," said Utah star Cummings. "Graham just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Coach Young, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."

Graham refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Graham certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.

Detroit was led by Graham (35 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Gilliam (16 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a block), Shaw (5 points, a steal). Utah was led by Cummings (28 points, 9 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Patton (12 points, a steal, a block), Garcia (6 points, 7 boards, 0 assists).

After the win, Detroit jump to 50-6 and 29-0 at home. They hold at #1 in the Central and remain at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Utah drop to 33-27. They remain at #3 in the Northwest and stay at #7 overall in the Western Conference.
