CVBL: Milwaukee Steamrolls Brooklyn 106-81

A rock-solid Milwaukee team routed Brooklyn, 106-81. "It sure felt good out there," said today's star, Jaramillo. "We basically accomplished what we wanted to do on offense and defense. Coach's game plan worked perfectly."

Brooklyn coach Bob was disappointed with the game, but not completely surprised. "Milwaukee is a great team, and we knew going in that if they played their best we didn't stand a chance. The only way we were going to win was if we got some breaks, and we didn't. But it was a great learning experience; they showed us our weaknesses."

Milwaukee was led by Jaramillo (18 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, 5 blocks), Reese (19 points, 4 steals, a block), Ott (26 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, a block). Brooklyn was led by Owens (14 points, 3 steals, 2 blocks), Hazan (12 points, 5 boards, 2 assists), Hargrove (8 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks).

With this win, Milwaukee improve to 40-17 and 21-9 at home. They hold at #1 in the Central and remain at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn ended their tear at 9 games, and are now 38-19. They hold at #1 in the Atlantic and stay at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference.
